Private Lessons

The first private lesson lasts about an hour. We discuss a bit so that I know why you want Alexander lessons and what questions you might have. We’ll do some Alexander work sitting on a chair, standing and walking. In the first lesson I also teach you the so-called semisupine, active lie-down, which is an exercise to lengthen and widen your back.

The following private lessons last about 40 minutes. Each lesson may be a bit different but a common feature is that during each lesson you get an experience of how moving and being might be if only you released your neck. The experience of Alexander teachers is that after some 30 lessons you can reliably apply the technique to your everyday life. A recent English research result supports this empirical observstion.
